White envelope addressed to "Mrs M.A. Browning \ St Keverne \ Portland Road \ Portslade by Sea \ nr Brighton \ Sussex \ England". Bears three WA one penny postage stamps, postmarked Perth 1910. Surcharge mark "T \ 40". The letter was double weight, 1/2 to 1 oz, and should have had four pence postage, it is taxed at double the deficiency, T20 = 2 pence. Reverse: flap bears a blue crest: "THE ROYAL PERTH YACHT CLUB \ WA" and is postmarked: "BRIGHTON \ 7 AM \ AP 30 \ 10 \ 2" in circle.
