White glaze. Moulded spout, handle and basket-work border at top. Decorated with painted flowers divided by gilt foliate bands. Cover has moulded rose in high relief. Printed mark on base in underglaze blue. 'HEREND HUNGARY (around shield)/ crossed brushes/ HANDPAINTED'. Herend Porcelain co. Hungary. est. 1838.
