"...decorated with crimson peonies & brown animals with floral & symbolic border." Multi-coloured, crimson peonies in bowl & on border which h light pink ground. Animals very stylized, paint appears to have been applied finger (overglaze). Animals are tree shrews. ANN ROBERTS: A famille rose plate decorated with tree shrews on a fruiting vi within a pink ground border of flowers and precious objects.
