White muslin. 2 layers of muslin to cuff. Top layer gathered into pointed cuff. Embroidered in white cotton with many small flowers, (broderie anglaise). Cuff elaborately embroidered with design of flowers etc - & drawn-thread work. Frill attached with large broderie anglaise motif. Narrow edging of bobbin lace - appears hand-worked. Ref. A.
