Harkiss) all of/ the Pilot Crew, Capt: Abraham/ Chief Pilot, Capt Tate, Second/ Pilot, T. Scott leading Hand/ I hope that when this is opened that/ the Pilot Crew will have a/ rise of pay, at present we are/ only getting £7, which/ is rather to(sic) little, and I hope/ you will have a better place/ than this to live in, as this ia/ only a stable patched up,/ Glory be to God/ and may the Divil(sic) fly/ away wid yez/ Home rule for Ireland/ (L)ong live the G.O.M./ Signed and Sealed/ by P.D. Baird/ H. Cooper/ G. Nelson/ T. Moore/ R. Harkiss/ Hurrah.'
