Owned by Robert Wilkinson Howe, Chief Lighthouse Keeper at Break Sea Island. Used before the turn of the century for sighting ships entering Albany Harbour. Engraved on eye-piece tube: "A.E. Sawtell \ Port Adelaide \ Made in England".
