BSW5408 - Miscellaneous/Unidentified artefact
Blacksmith’s W/shop, Vic Quay Wreck
Test Pit Sample Soil was dark brown sandy clay containing a large quantity of metal. Some pieces of green and purple glass were also recovered. A large quantity of slag was found, especially around a rusty lime deposit. At the base of the unit the soil became yellow sandy lime stone and contained no artefacts.
