Blacksmith’s W/shop, Vic Quay Wreck
Test Pit Sample Soil was a sandy grey with a thin deposit of mortar/lime running through it. This layer also contained small fragments of red brick in parts. Some large metal railway sleeper pegs were found along with pieces of glass and seashells.
