18 puzzles of zoo animals made with wood. In box - base has wooden sides and cardboard bottom, cardboard top. Picture on lid of zoo attendant leading an elephant with eight children riding on it while two children watch. Written at top 'THE ZOO A New DISSECTED PUZZLE/ for good children'. Puzzles include giraffe, camel, monkeys, zebra, flamingoes, guinea fowls, baboons, lion, cub bears, parrots, ostrich, wolf, orang-utan, brown bears, peacock, pelicans, polar bear and tiger. Costume of children on lid of box indicate a date of around the turn-of the century. Price in pencil on lid 4/6.
