Manual operation: turn ceramic knobbed handle by hand. Silver coloured floral decoration over black metal areas, almost all worn off horizontal bar by which machine is lifted - a brand name could have been incorporated here. (There is no brand name anywhere to be found now). Long, 'MISSILE' - SHAPED BOBBIN which works back and forth. Wooden cotton reel with dark purple thread.
Bentwood case has geometric leaf design carved into wood at each end.
