No maker's name, possible ser. no. 35241. Parts and accessories include 5 weights in two different styles; spare needles - some in packet marked 100 Strickmachinen Nadelen; 3 dekkers - like darners, used to thread needles - 2 single (broken) and 1 double (essential tools). Needles and tools kept in cigarette etc tins (T85.127 & T85.128); a winder which screws onto a table, used to wind wool balls onto a bobbin. In the earlier years another accessory - like double umbrella ribs made of wood - was used to wind wool from skeins onto bobbins (the skein winder no longer survives but there is at least one similar in the collection).
