a & b Scalloped edge, wide-rimmed, shallow bowls with four painted pink roses in bowl. Thick bluish glaze. b. Shows black speckles in glaze. Painted mark on base in underglaze dark green. 'SPODE'. Ref. L. Whiter, Spode, page 224 number 110. Used before 1821. Pattern as CH82.318 and 333.
