Thinly potted. Clear, craze free glaze. Spirally fluted with scalloped edge. Gilt border of foliage with flecks of red. Gilt circle in centre with sprig of gilt foliage. Gilt edge. No marks. Described in Christies catalogue 1 Aug, 1979 number 212 d as Worcester though can't verify. If Worcester probably from the Flight period when simply decorated, fluted tea-wares were typical. Very similar design to CH81.393. Ref: Godden British Porcelain page 417.
