CHINESE ROBE
CH1980.192
Mainly pink silk fabric with self-woven butterflies and flowers. Lined with blue cotton. Right front neck and hem edged with black silk trimmed with blue. Blue floral embroidered band (1.7cm wide inside this edging). Fastens at neck and front with toggles of fabric. Sleeves edged with white silk, multicoloured embroidery on one side - birds, flowers, butterflies - peacock in centre. Sleeves lined with bright lime-yellow fabric - edged with black silk and blue braids.
