Grey silk chiffon with permanent press pleat day dress, slightly gathered at hips to suggest dropped waistline; free-floating lapels of same fabric attached at shoulders; full-length central panel of machine-made, coralline-type lace with line of silk knob decorative buttons all the way down; wide collar of same lace; short sleeves of same lace, upper seam open. Entirely hand made.
