WAGONETTE

Purchased by Ron Jordinson of Harley Road, Belmont, from original owner in Victoria Park in early 1940s. This vehicle often used in gymkhana's, civic occasions, parades etc along with other horse-drawn vehicles owned by Jordinson, whilst residing at "Santa Maria", Hardy Road, Forrestfield. Purchased by Bob Evans ca 1983. WAM purchased it in 1990. Family Wagonette used by middle class families ca 1900. Specifically designed to be safe for the carriage of small children hence the vis-a-vis seating, high backed seats and rear door. Used mainly for family outings. Correct nomenclature is "CANOE FRONT WAGONETTE".
