a - Orange, rectangular tin which once contained 1 yard of Elastic Adhesive Plaster, width 1.5 inches, trademark "ELASTOPLAST". Made in England by T.J.SMITH AND NEPHEW LTD London, Hull, Manchester, Glasgow. b - White, rectangular tin which once contained Elastic Adhesive Dressings (medicated pads - boric gauze), trademark "BAND-AID". Made by JOHNSON AND JOHNSON (GREAT BRITAIN) LTD, Slough. c - Blue and yellow circular container, originally consisting of a spool of 1 yard of Elastic Adhesive Plaster, width 0.5 inches, and a protective tin ring around the spool.Now contains about 2 inches of flesh- coloured elastoplast. Trademark "ELASTIKON". Made in England by JOHNSON AND JOHNSON LTD, Slough, for JOHNSON AND JOHNSON LTD, Sydney, Australia. d - Blue circular spool, which once contained "REAL AID" Adhesive Plaster.Now spool is wrapped around with string.
