BOY GEORGE DOLL, 'Colour by Numbers' costume, plastic, on stand

Plastic caucasian flesh coloured plastic Boy George doll on yellow plastic stand. Dressed in 'Colour by Numbers' tour outfit, off white linen pants and long volumous jacket with large red and black numbers worn over knitted blue t-shirt. Hair originally combed and tied back under black hat is now free and partly braided on each side with a ribbon bow at each end of the braid. Face has exaggerated purple and yellow eyeshadow and red lipstick. He wears bright orange gym boots and yellow socks. Fully poseable with twisting waist, bendable legs and moveable arms. Doll is missing black hat, blue microphone and clear plastic tie for hair. Doll brand in moulded raised relief lettering across lower back reads '© 1984 SHARPGRADE LTD./ LJN TOYS LTD'. Stand has 'Boy George TM' embossed on top, on base '© 1984 SHARPGRADE LTD./ LJN TOYS LTD'. [Culture Club]
