VASE, small, porcelain, handpainted with Donkey Orchids by Charlotte Lapsley

Small white ceramic vase with narrow neck and rounded shoulder tapering to a narrow foot. The vase is handpainted with profuse yellow and brown Donkey Orchids and green and brown foliage. The neck is ringed with brown. The base is stamped with a green circular mark 'MADE IN GERMANY' and signed in brown paint 'C. E. Irving' (Charlotte Evelyn Lottie Lapsley), which has been smudged.
