Circular badge with silver finish rim and stick pin fixing. Shape of Northern Territory landmass in centre of badge in red/brown enamel with headframe motif underneath an atom. Black enamel border around edge of badge reads 'NORTHERN TERRITORY/ DEPARTMENT OF MINES AND ENERGY'. White enamel background in between border and map. Resin finish around top rim is peeling off. Reverse: 'SHERIDAN/ PERTH', stick pin fixing with pin attached.
