TROPHY, swimming, Como Amateur Swimming & Life Saving Club, 1931

Large, heavy, silver-plated, double-handled cup with decorative pressed rim and matching step, engraved: 'Como Amateur Swimming and Lifesaving Club / SWIM THROUGH COMO / 1931 / First'. The flat handles, that curve inversely to a point above the rim, divide into two strands, one that joins the bottom half of the cup and the other that joins the step. The base is inscribed 'PHOENIX PLATE / EP NS / MADE IN AUSTRALIA'.
