TROPHY, billiards, Robert Marshall, 1938

Double-handled, silver-plated, cone-shaped cup with detachable lid. Handles project hozontally from the rim and curve towards the botton of the cup; the lid is multitiered topped by a ball. The cup rests on a short stem with one moulded ring and a circular step. The inscription reads: 'BRITISH EMPIRE AMATEUR / BILLIARDS CHAMPIONSHIP / Melbourne 1938 / won by R Marshall / AUSTRALIA'. Base missing.
