CRICKET TROPHY, 200th wicket in Test cricket, 1968/69, Graham McKenzie

Polished, red leather A. G. Thompson Pty. Ltd. turf cricket ball with six rows of white stitching around the seam at ball circumference and marks on the surface of one side of the ball where it has been hit with a cricket bat, surmounts a bell-shaped, silver stem on a circular black plastic base. There is white lettering engraved on a black metal plaque attached to the black plastic base which reads: ‘Presented to /GRAHAM McKENZIE/ 200th Wicket taken in Test Cricket/ 2ND TEST – MELBOURNE/ West Indies Tour/ 1968-1969. Donated by A. G. Thompson Pty. Ltd.’ Circular motif at bottom right of engraved plaque – silver circle with image of stylised kookaburra on branch is the Trademark symbol of A. G. Thompson Pty. Ltd, makers of ‘Kookaburra Turf’ Test cricket balls
