Two glass jars reading in raised letters 'MASON's with a patented lid which screws on. A white plastic disk fits on the inside lid. Two side seams to mouth (machine made). [.a] is a newer style than [.b].
[.a] Bottom is embossed: 'M-7'
[.b] Bottom is embossed: 'M-5'. White disk inside lid reads 'GENUINE BOYD CAP/ FOR MASON JARS'.
