KEROSENE BURNER

Blue enamel kerosene stove. Base has 3 feet, on top of it sits the burner which is white with two wicks. On top of the burner sits a chamber holding a cast-iron plate. The chamber has a decorative voided cut-out skirt which sits above the burner. In the side is a wondow so that the wick can be observed. Painted around the sides of the chamber is a gold stripe and 'ORIGINEEL BECCON/ NED. FABRIKAAT'. The cast iron plate has 'Edy' moulded into it. 'Edy' was the precursor to Email (Emaille factory De IJssel city Dieren?). Made in Holland.
