Hand written message below this in black ink "1906/ The boat Don came in/ from Adelaide to Fremantle." Handwritten message on reverse in black ink "between-/ Cape Lenvier/ & Fremantle./ "Ormuz,"/ Friday. Oct. 15th/ Dear Maggie,/ We had it rough/ [illegible] for/ the first two days out/ but since it is pleasant/ on the waters. We reach Ftl - / [illegible] a slow trip, [illegible]/ you all are well & accept/ lots of love, Yours Dad.". Address on other half of card "Miss M. Swan./ Coalville./ Gippsland./ Victoria".
