A rectangular stamp with the words 'WESTERN/ AUSTRALIAN/ GOVERNMENT RAILWAYS' surrounding a circular insignia. The motto 'Honi soit quy mal y pense' surrounds the shield of the Royal coat of arms of the United Kingdom (sans lion and unicorn) and surmounts a swan. Wood veneer base and metal plate.
