CIGARETTE CASE
H1994.212
Almost square shaped silver cigarette case with rounded corners. Has all-over diamond pattern front and rear in three panels. Box in front side is engraved 'E.M'. Attached to central hinged side on interior are two thin metal decorated bands on a spring, each of which held a row of cigarettes in place. The inside left side is engraved 'FROM YOUR WORK MATES/ CARSHED 79', the right reads 'HAR-BRI/ MADE IN ENGLAND/ E.P.N.S.' There is a press-spring catch on the outside of the case.
