TRAY, Inlaid
H1994.111
Small, oblong inlaid tray with handle at each end (one broken off). Centre of tray features a star shape made from two different tyes of wood, inlaid. Side and ends of tray feature scrolled fretwork. Tray asssembled with small-headed screws. Sticker on underside reads (partly handwritten): EDUCATION DEPT., W.A./ NAME - Charles Young/ Centre - James St/ Class [blank]/ Commenced - 1.8.18/ Finished 17.8.48/ I hereby certify that this model is absolutely and / entirely the work of the scholar whose name it bears/ D.H.....[?] Iden'. The headmaster of the school at that time was Mr McGregor.
