Cream coloured pages and blue ink make up this 'Mills & Ware' price list. There is no cardboard cover, simply pages stapled together, (this may have something to do with it being wartime 1940). Throughout this price list there are many items crossed out indicating their unavailability. This price list, lists, a number of cakes, biscuits, their price, weight and quantity in each packet. The cover of the price list reads 'ALL PREVIOUS PRICE LISTS CANCELLED/ PRICE LIST/ REVISED/ AUG. 15, 1940/ (handwritten) - All Biscuits except/ Milk arrowroot/ subject to 12 1/2 %/ sales tax./ Mills & Ware/ Ltd./ BISCUIT & CAKE MANUFACTURERS/ FREMANTLE/ WESTERN AUSTRALIA/ NOTE/ All Prices, with the exception of exempt/ lines, are subject to the Sales Tax of 8 1/3%/ which will be shown as a seperate item at/ the bottom of each invoice./ Telegraphic and Cable/ Adress/ 'MILLSWARE"/ Code A.B.C. 7th Edition/ Telephones: IL-1306 (5 lines)/ Postal Address:/ Box 111, P.O., Fremantle'.
