AMPOULES, case of.

Blue cardboard case for ten ampoules containing seven ampoules "FIBROLYSIN / acc. to / Dr F. Mendel, Essen / English Patent No. 225 33/05 / E. Merck. Made in Germany, Darmstadt." "Fibrolysin" is the trade name for Thiosinamine and sodium salicylate used for the relaxing of scar tissue. These ampoules could have been used for rheumatoid arthritis etc. See Martindale's PHARMACOPOEIA 1941 vol 1 p. 918. (book ex Stan Wilson, on hist lab shelves to go to WAM Lib.)
