Panel of white lace. Appears to be needle point - either Point de Gaze, or Brussels Point applique. A note included in the box of lace may relate to this (attached). Refers to 'Point de Gaze' panel. "Given mother by Father, bought Army-Navy Store Aug 1889 for 47.10.0 pounds. Valued at 45.0.0 (in 1920). Mother wore it on her court dresses & I wore it on my Buckingham Palace Garden dress when presenting Elizabeth & on my Court Dress when presenting Margaret." Headed: "Mother's lace which came to me by valuation & sheare Dec-1920".
