Obverse: "SOUTH AFRICA" with Britannia with a flag in her left hand, and extending her right hand with a laurel wreath towards an advancing party of soldiers. Reverse: "Edward VII". KING EDWARD'S SOUTH AFRICAN MEDAL (1901-02). Edge: "4684 CORPL. A. HANDLEY. RL. BERKS REGT." Second Royal Berkshire Regiment. On a bar with W83.3 a,c,d,e.
