Waist petticoat of white cotton calico; broad waistband with 2 hooks a eyes plus button of uncertain purpose at centre back placket; gauged to band from sides to back; further fullness to be had with gathered tape across centr back panel at thigh level; deep flounce (comprising half the length of the piece) gauged to upper half; printed inside waistband "E.F. Prinsep". Belonged to Emily Prinsep of Little Holland House, Busselton.
