COLANDER, from German helmet, tin, c1942

Colander: made from German tin helmet. Off white colour, speckled; finished with baked enamel - gloss. Two handles and three small feet (ring shaped). Several groups of small holes at base (each 3 holes in triangular pattern). Rim of mouth and handles dark in colour. Some discolouration - mustard in colour - rust marks.
