Adams patent made by Francotte, double action barrel and frame are single forging. Sights: fore - recessed blade, rear - recessed 'V'. Manufacturer: 'A Francotte, a Leige' on top of barrel; 'Adams patent 16511' engraved on body; on LHS of body, 'Adams Patent 1856'. Proof: Crown over 'AF' on cylinder and LHS of body; crown over 'F' on rammer. Furniture: two side plates, capture rammer wooden pistol butt plates base of butt, metal. Spring is broken.
