T1985.31

Made in London with serial No. 1689 on workings. The only "Herrings" listed in Baillie Watch & Clockmakers of the World operating in London date from late 18th - early C19th. Back of workings elaborately carved with grotesque faces and other creatures, dragons and scrolls. Enamel, 12 hour face with minute divisions. Arabic numerals.
