"SUPER SWINGER / POLAROID LAND CAMERA" "Land" refers to Dr Land, an American scientist and inventor who developed the rapid, one-stop photographic process beginning in 1943. The "SUPER SWINGER" was invented in 1972 and was superseded in the same year. It used film packs, first introduced in 1963, rather than picture-rolls. Ref B. Coe. Cameras p 185-6.
