NB.A mirror galvanometer is a mechanical meter that senses electric current, except that instead of moving a needle, it moves a mirror. Principle of moving coil mirror galvanometer: Use of mirror so that light beam used as a 'pointer'. Single angle of rotation of refl. beam = 2x angle of rotation of mirror. Instrument more sensitive than other galvanometers and is lighter.
