LIGHT CAR
T1983.102
Light car designed by Orbital Engineering Consist of a tubular chassis, fibreglass shell (in 2 parts) and petrol motor. Driver was strapped to chassis by body harness and shell fitted around driver. A 10 cc (aircraft model engine) was adapted, with a special carburettor to a chain-drive mechanism. (See supplementary File for Techn. Data). Travelled 2,685 m.p.g. at average speed of 25 k.p.h.
Total vehicle weight: 23kg. Wheels are racing bicycle wheels, with custom hubs
