1928 ERSKINE/ STUDEBAKER.
1928 ERSKINE SIX SEDAN (The Little Aristocrat). Built by Studebaker Corporation, South Bend Indiana, U.S.A. Named after A.R. Erskine, then President of the Studebaker Corp.
Specifications: 6 cylinder L. Head 146.1 cube including 16.54 HP (2.394 litre).
Bore 2 5/8" (66mm).
Stroke 4 1/2" (114mm).
40 BHP at 3200 RPM.
Capable of 60 miles per hour when new.
Chassis and running gear imported completely knocked down form to comply with Government restrictions on imported vehicles, to protect the Australian motor industry.
Body designed by DIETRICH and built in Sydney by Smith & Waddington.
