a) Basil-tanned sheepskin apron
b) Shoeing box made out of old gelignite box.
c) Farrier's hammer. A nailing-on hammer, with claw to twist off protruding nails.
d) Shoeing pincers. For extracting old nails, and clinching new ones.
e) Three-quarter rasp. Used in preparing the hoof.
f) Hoof parers. To clean and prepare the hoof for shoeing.
g) Toe knife made out of old file.
h) buffer made by G.H. Doyle cal. 896 (ex horse rasp). Used to knock off the clinched nail ends of old shoes
i) Pritchell. Pointed piece of steel forenlarging holes in shoes.
j) Shoeing knife
k) Search knife. small paring knife with angled hook at tip
l) Brass rule 'Rabone'. For general use
