Believed to have been brought to W.A. on clipper ships as part of a ballast. Then taken to Kalgoorlie for use in ball mills. a) On loan to John Glover, Geology department, University of W.A. To be sectioned for comparison with known English flint and hand- axe made of flint found near Esperance. Mr. C. Dortch, Curator of Archaeology preparing a paper (bibliographic details to be supplied). Loan Receipt 2958. b) Note. On 7 Jan 1976 when T443(a) was located in Willetton Store in specimen box with T66, T443(b) was not located. T443 (b) located 3/11/88.
