A gold 1 sovereign coin. The obverse features a Bare bust of King George V and the lettering: 'GEORGIVS V D.G.BRITT:OMN:REX F.D.IND:IMP:' and the mintmark of the engraver 'B.M.' under the bust. The reverse features St. George and the Dragon, with the date and engraver mintmark 'B.P.' underneath. The mintmark 'P' is visible on the ground under King George.
