PIN DISHES, x2, shell-shaped Japanese porcelain, handpainted by May Clarke

Two small clam shell-shaped ribbed Japanese porcelain pin dishes. Both have black painted rims. They are handpainted with Western Australian wildflowers on white porcelain. 'MADE IN JAPAN' stamped on back within the foot.
[.1] PIN DISH, handpainted 'Hovea/by/May Clarke/1934' painted in purple within the foot. Flowers purple with ovate, serated, green leaves.
[.2] PIN DISH, handpainted 'Star Everlastings/by/May Clarke' painted in grey within the foot. Flowers blue with pin-like green leaves radiating from a central rib. Pink background.
