Circular heavy gold-coloured metal medallion, obverse has embossed letters 'Ansett W.A.' at top edge and 'BAe 146-200' on the bottom edge with central embossed image of aeroplane flying. Reverse has embossed words in block capitals 'TO COMMEMORATE/THE INAUGURAL FLIGHTS/OF THE BRITISH/AEROSPACE BAe 146-200/JETLINER INTRODUCED TO/WESTERN AUSTRALIA BY/ANSETT W.A./MAY, 1985'.
