UNIFORM, Tunic only, Australian Army Officer's, WWI, Lt. Col. Hubert Stanley Wyborn Parker

Khaki green wool jacket uniform of the Australian Army during WWI. Square colour patch of top half rectangle of bottle green and bottom half bright red found in pocket relates to Parker’s WWII service with the AIF (Middle East) Detachment, Docks Operating Company, 1942.
Fabric label to inside collar; 'ROBERTS & SHORT/ NAVAL TAILORS/ 4, BURY ST., S.W.I./ NO. 1708 Date. 27/1/19./ MAJOR H.S.W. PARKER'.
Additions since 30th July 2015 to complete decorations on jacket include; x2 rank insignias on shoulder straps for Lieutenant Colonel, x2 'AUSTRALIA' badges on shoulder straps, and x2 rising star collar badges on collar. There is a military ribbon bar (replica) on the left breast in this order; ‘1914-15 STAR/ BRITISH WAR MEDAL/ VICTORY MEDAL with MID emblem/ VOLUNTEER DECORATION’ and a single ribbon bar for the Distinguished Service Order (DSO) above. x1 small 'AUSTRALIAN MILITARY FORCES' button on right shoulder strap and x1 large 'AUSTRALIAN MILITARY FORCES' button on first button hole at front opening added.
