Small, rectangular, natural coloured with purple and green stripes, with purple edging and handles, raffia, book cover. Open, square weave raffia, with plaited edging and handles. Central, thin, horizontal stripe decoration on either side of bag, three stripes; green, purple, green. Bag opens to two small, rectangular ‘pockets’, folded over from front, stitched in place by purple raffia edging (to hold open book). Bag folded vertically in centre; single, twisted, plaited blue and red thin plastic rope sewn to fold using thin piece of cotton tape, at top centre of bag, knotted at end, frayed (book mark). Purple raffia handles threaded through side ‘pockets’, connected with thin raffia. Raffia intact on body and handles, no discernible harsh wearing/torn sections. No discolouration.
