SHOVEL, hand, copper, banking

Small, flat bottomed copper shovel. Tapering cylindrical handle attached to body by four rivets. Scoop has rounded higher back section tapering to mouth edge. Scoop mouth has a 48mm dark area from edge, appears dipped (?) into paint (?) or lead (?). Dull tarnished inner and upper surfaces: underneath base and outer sides polished.
