POSTCARD, ‘We are Thoroughly Enjoying the Change at Perth’ - 1942

Postcard with colour sketch on front of two ladies changing into bathing costumes behind a rock. There are two males watching them from a nearby rock. The picture is signed 'THOMAS HENRYS' and is dated 1942. Below the picture is written 'We are Thoroughly Enjoying/The Change/At PERTH'. The picture has a lift up section in the middle which when opened has eleven 30mm x 50mm sblack and white photos of Perth. Each photo has text to identify the image. Photos inlcude landmarks around Perth such as the town hall, St Georges Terrace, and Parliament House. Marked at the bottom of the photos is 'PERTH/Valentine Publishing Co. Pty Ltd, Melb & Sydney'. The post card was sent from 'Carol' to 'Dear Joe', and the message includes pleasantries and mentions a return date of 21 January 1952 from 'A Freeman'.
